At The Old Lime Kiln we offer quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the pretty, quiet village of Shipton Gorge, situated just 2 miles from the historic bustling market town of Bridport. The World Heritage Jurassic coast is only 1 mile away and Dorchester, Lyme Regis, Weymouth and Abbotsbury are a short drive away.The Old Lime Kiln is a detached property with parking on site and is comfortably furnished. The house is spacious and light with wonderful views over farm land to the sea and we hope you enjoy the relaxed and informal atmosphere of our home. The generously sized south facing bedroom has stunning views over farm land to the sea and has a balcony furnished with a bench for that early morning cup of tea or pre-supper glass of wine. The bedroom has recently been refurbished and the en-suite has a large power shower. We offer television, DVDs, hairdryer and beverage tray. The King size bed is made up with soft Egyptian cotton bed linen under a goose down duvet.Breakfast is taken in the study overlooking our glorious views and where possible produce is locally sourced, organic or free range The house is an easy stroll across the road to the village pub serving great food.We want to do our very best to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one and welcome you to this fabulous part of West Dorset. We particularly welcome walkers and cyclists.There is free Wi-fi but unfortunately very limited mobile signal.

Off A35 Dorchester to Honiton road take left turn sign posted Shipton Gorge and Burton Bradstock. One mile down this road The Old Lime Kiln will be found on the right hand side. If you pass The New Inn on your left you have gone too far.
